What is pride meaning?

Pride is a feeling of satisfaction, achievement, and self-respect that arises from achievements, qualities, or possessions that one associates with one's own identity, status, or worth. It is generally considered to be a positive emotion when experienced in moderation, as it can enhance self-esteem and motivate one to work toward further accomplishments. However, excessive pride or arrogance can also lead to negative consequences or attitudes towards others. The concept of pride is often associated with the LGBT community as a celebration and affirmation of identity, particularly during Pride Month celebrations.
